Suppose, you are a student of class twelve of a college. Your age is 18. So, you have eligibility to open a bank account. You stay away from your family. As a result, you need a bank account. Now write a dialogue between you and the manager of a bank for opening a bank account.

Answer:

Myself: Good morning, sir.

Manager: Good morning. What can I do for you?

Myself: Sir, I would like to open a bank account.

Manager: What do you do?

Myself: Sir, I am a student.

Manager: Do you have a Student Unique ID?

Myself: Yes sir. I have a Student Unique ID.

Manager: Are you 18 plus?

Myself: Yes sir. According to my SSC certificate, I am 18 plus. But I am a student. So far as I know there is no age restriction for a student to open a bank account.

Manager: Right you are. That is a student account. But in that case, you must have the consent of your parents in black and white. However, as you are 18 plus you are eligible legally to open a bank account.

Myself: Thank you, sir. I would like to open an account to deposit the money my parents send and also the money I earn through private tuition.

Manager: Very good decision.

Myself: What type of account will be perfect for me?

Manager: A savings account will be perfect for you.

 Myself: OK sir. I know you will suggest the right one.

Manager: Sure. This is the form for opening a bank account. Please provide detailed information about yourself by filling up every single blank space on the form. Don’t hesitate to ask for help to fill up the form if you need it.

Myself: I have filled up the form.

Manager: Now, submit it to the second officer with three copies of passport-size photographs and a photocopy of a Student Unique ID of your own. He will do everything to open your account.
Myself: Thank you once again, sir.

Manager: You are always welcome and feel easy to talk to me whenever you need.

Myself: Sure sir.

Manager: Have a good day.

(Dialogue-2): Dialogue between a freelancer and the manager of a bank to open a bank account

Suppose you are a new freelancer. You have been receiving training on Google ads for the last couple of months. So, to provide remote services you have created accounts on different international marketplaces such as Fiverr, UpWork, etc. You are confident enough to be a successful freelancer. To receive money from the marketplace you need a bank account. Now write a dialogue with the bank officer to open an account.

Answer:

Myself: Good afternoon, sir.

Manager: Good afternoon. How can I help you?

Myself: I would like to open a bank account with your branch.

Manager: Please take your seat. What is your profession?

Myself: I am a freelancer.

Manager: Challenging profession. You will bring remittance for Bangladesh. I hope you will be successful.

Myself: Please keep me in your prayers so that I can fulfill my dream.

Manager: Do you have any idea about account type?

Myself: No sir. I do not have any idea about banking.

Manager: For freelancers, the savings account is good.

Myself: You know well which one is good for me.

Manager: Have you brought your photo and NID?

Myself: Yes sir. I know photos and NID are essential for opening a bank account.

Manager: OK. Go to the public relations officer. He will do everything to open your bank account.

Myself: Don’t I have to fill up any form to open an account?

Manager: Our officer will fill up your form using software. You will just provide the necessary information.

Myself: Very good system. Filling up the form is a hassle. There is probability of making mistakes.

Manager: That’s why one of our bank officers fills up the form to ease the trouble of our honorable clients.

Myself: Excellent initiative. Thank you, sir.
