According to the data of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) of Bangladesh in the 2022-2023 fiscal year, Bangladesh earned 55 billion dollars by exporting garments, leather and leather products, home textiles, jute and jute products, engineering products, etc. Readymade garments as usual earned the highest foreign exchange among all export products as in previous years.
The first column of the graph indicates the percentage of earnings from garments exports from Bangladesh to various destinations worldwide. We can see from the graph that 80% of the total export revenue in fiscal year 2022-2023, was from apparel exports.
In the same year, Bangladesh earned 4% of valuable foreign exchange by exporting leather and leather products. Bangladeshi leather is of very high quality. So, there is a lot of demand for Bangladeshi leather all over the world.

By exporting all these products, Bangladesh earned 10% of its total foreign earnings in the fiscal year 2022-2023.
