Beginning of the story:

Once upon a time, there was a king in Scotland named Robert Bruce. The king of England wanted to make Scotland a part of England. England’s king sent a great army to fight against Robert Bruce……………………

Robert Bruce was a brave king. He fought like a hero against England but unfortunately, he was defeated.

The king ran away from the battlefield to save his life. He took shelter in a cave.  Out of disappointment, he gave up all hope.

But one day he saw a spider in that cave. It was trying to reach the roof of the cave. It made six attempts to reach its web but every time it slipped down.

Scottish king, Robert Bruce was astonished to see that the spider continued its efforts to reach the top. On the seventh attempt, the spider was successful.

This incident boosted up the spirit of King Bruce. He gained new strength and fresh courage. He gathered his forces and fought another battle.

This time he fought with new enthusiasm and ultimately became successful to make his country free.

Moral of the story:
