Myself: Good morning Rakib.

Rakib: Good morning Sajid.

Myself: How are you?

Rakib: I’m fine. What about you?

Myself: I’m also good. How was your exam?

Rakib: It was fine. What about you?

Myself: My exam was also fine.

Rakib: What is your aim in life?

Myself: I want to be a doctor.

Rakib: Why do you want to be a doctor?

Suppose, you are Sabiha a student of class twelve. Sabrina is one of your friends and studies in the same class as you. Now write a dialogue between you and Sabrina about your future plan of life.

Sabiha: Hello Sabrina.

Sabrina: Hello Sabiha.

Sabiha: Let’s discuss our future plan.

Sabrina: Sure. What do you want to do in the future?

Sabiha: I want to be a freelancer.

Sabrina: Why do you want to be a freelancer?

Sabiha: You know every single year thousands of students become graduates. But there is not enough employment opportunity for them in our country. As a result, a huge number of graduates remain unemployed. That is why I do not want to waste my time looking for a job.

Sabrina: Very good idea and an idea of out of the box. So far as I know, to be a freelancer you must have a particular skill to work in the international marketplace.

Sabiha: Right you are. After HSC I will buy a computer to learn video editing.

Sabrina: Why video editing?

Sabiha: A good video editor has high demand in the local and international marketplace. So, I want to be an international standard video editor. What about your plan?

Sabrina: I want to be a nurse.

Sabiha: Really?

Sabrina: Yes my dear friend. If someone can complete B. Sc in nursing she can have a job at home and abroad easily.

Sabiha: Excellent plan. I am super hungry. Let’s go to the canteen to eat something.

Sabrina: OK, let’s move.

Suppose you are a student. Tushar is your close friend and studies in the same class as you. Now write a dialogue between you and your friend Tushar about your aim in life.

Myself: Hello Tushar! How is everything?

Tushar: Pretty good. What about you?

Myself: I am also good. Where have you been for the last couple of days?

Tushar: I went to my village. That’s why I have been absent from school for the last five days.

Myself: I have been looking for you to discuss an important topic.

Tushar: Oh! Really? Let’s sit over there under the mango tree.

Myself: Beautiful place. Let’s go.

Tushar: Now let me know your important topic.

Myself: I am worried about my career. Please tell me your aim in life.

Tushar: We shouldn’t be worried about our future. We should fix our aim in life. My aim in life is clear. I want to be a farmer.

Myself: You are living in a city. Besides, you are the topper in our class. How will you be a farmer?

Tushar: My good result is not a barrier to becoming a farmer. Rather it will help me to be a good farmer. Because, you know good agricultural production is closely related to the knowledge and skills of agricultural science.

Myself: How? Would you please explain?

Tushar: After completing my HSC. I will study at an agricultural university. Because higher study in agriculture will help me to know a lot of things about agriculture.

Myself: Excellent decision. Do you have any plans for farming?

Tushar: My grandfather has a good amount of farming land. So, I have a plan to make the best use of that land. Now let me know your aim in life.

Myself: I want to be an English teacher at a secondary school.

Tushar: Good idea. However, may I know why you have chosen teaching as a profession?

Myself: Because I believe through teaching I will be able to do something good for my society.

Tushar: Right you are. Now we should work hard to fulfill our aim in life.

Myself: Sure. Thank you, friend. Anyway, it was a great chat.

Tushar: You are always welcome.
