The worst flood-hit area is Mulfotgonj Union. In some places of this union, even the roofs of the tin-shed houses have gone underwater. All the people have taken shelter in the nearby flood protection embankment. They are passing inhuman lives without food, water, and medicine.
We are requesting you to take immediate steps to provide necessary relief goods to the flood-affected people.

With due respect and dignity, we the villagers of Charsindur would like to state that a massive fire gutted fifty shops at Charsindur Bazar, last night.
On information, a fire fighting unit from Palash rushed in and brought the fire under control after three hours. But they could not douse the fire totally yet.
The team leader of the firefighting unit tried their best to minimize the loss. Nevertheless, fifty shops of different categories burned down fully. The businessmen incurred a loss of several crores taka.
Two firefighters and several local businessmen have been injured while trying to douse the fire. The businessmen who were millionaires yesterday today nothing in their hands.
The businessmen affected by the fire need support from the district administration on an emergency basis. They need tin as a relief to construct shops temporarily. They also need some money to buy new products to sell.
In this situation, we are requesting you to grant emergency relief to support the businessmen to fight back again.
We therefore pray and hope that you would be kind enough to take immediate steps to provide money and shop-building materials as emergency relief to support the shopkeepers of Charsindur Bazar.

We the inhabitants of Haimchar Upazila of your district would like to state that due to the recent devastating river erosion of the mighty Meghna River, hundreds of people have become homeless.
The people who had land under their feet and a roof over their heads few a days ago they have nothing today because of catastrophic river erosion.
The victims of river erosion are staying under the open sky. Local people are helping them by providing food and water. Some of the helpless people are staying at the field of the local high school and some are staying by the side of flood protection embankment. They have made temporary huts with bamboo and polythene to take shelter.
In this situation, they need emergency food and medicine as a relief from district administration to survive.
We hope that as the chief executive of the district, you will take urgent measures to provide emergency relief to support the helpless people of river erosion.
