These fruits are extremely harmful to the body and brain of human beings. Corrupt meat and fish sellers use formalin to make fish and meat look fresh.
Long ago, people used to use salt as a preservative to preserve fish and meat for a long time. Preserving fish for a long time using salt is still a practice in different regions of the world. This is a natural way of preservation. But nowadays some people are using chemical ingredients randomly to preserve fish or meat for an extended period without considering the bad effects on the human body.
Natural preservatives such as salt, sugar, vinegar, lemon juice, etc. are not as harmful as chemical preservatives. There are two types of preservation processes, such as physical and chemical. Examples of physical preservations are drying, refrigerating, freezing, etc. The good side of preservation is it reduces food costs.
People use chemical preservatives to prevent the decomposition of food products, beverages, pharmaceutical drugs, paints, biological samples, cosmetics, wood, and so on. Formalin is a common and well-known chemical compound and serves as a disinfectant.
The dishonest fish, meat, and fruit sellers take advantage of the disinfectant properties of formalin to make their products look fresh for a long period. Because of formalin, the foods become toxic.
