(Letter-2): Write a letter to your father for money

Suppose, you are Masum an SSC examinee. Your SSC exam is over. You want to get admitted to the British Council to develop your English language skills. Now write a letter to your father explaining the importance of the course and seeking money for the course fee.

Dear Father,

Assalamualaikum. Hope everything is going on well.

You know my SSC exam was finished yesterday. It will take two or three months to publish our exam resut. You told me to stay with you and mother before publishing the SSC result. But I would like to utilize this valuable time by learning English and computer.

In our exam system, there are no marks for speaking and listening. As a result, we do not get ample scope to develop our speaking and listening skills in English. But you know in real life these two skills are very important for communication.

I have been looking for an English-speaking environment to be good at speaking English. So far as I know the British Council ensures an English-speaking environment for the learners to be fluent in English. It is a Spoken English Course with IELTS. The course is offline or on-campus and the fee is 18,000/= taka.

I hope you will give me your consent to be a student of the course. Because this course is very much essential for me to develop my speaking as well as listening skills. Please send me the course fee as soon as possible.

No more today. Stay well and safe.

Your loving son
