People across the world love to enjoy the rain. So rainy day is favorite to all. Rainy day is common in the rainy season. But because of climate change rain in the rainy season has become irregular. Sometimes there is no rain for days in the rainy season on the other hand there may be excessive rain that results in floods or landslides. On a rainy day, we can see and enjoy the beautiful look of nature. Sometimes it rains slowly and sometimes it rains heavily in a rainy day. Sometimes the rain stops but that is only for a short period.
The sun cannot be seen because of clouds and for this, the vibe of a rainy day remains the whole day though pouring rain from the sky sometimes stops. The schoolgoers become happy on a rainy day because they can stay at home and enjoy the rainy day. But if they have an exam they have to go to school. The office goers face a great problem to be on time in their office.
Getting transport on a rainy day is difficult. The people who have to earn their livelihood every single day don’t enjoy a rainy day. Earning bread and butter for their family becomes difficult because of rain. Nevertheless, they also love a rainy day. Everyone wants to have special food on a rainy day. For most of the people, a rainy day is an enjoyable day.

On a rainy day, it rains all day long. The sky is overcast with clouds. The sun is not seen. Sometimes, gusty wind blows with rain. Rivers, canals, and tanks swell up. Roads and paths get muddy and slippery. Water stands here and there. Normal life is disrupted due to heavy rain. The common people cannot attend their respective places in time.
If anybody wants to go outside, he has to take an umbrella with him. The workers do not like rainy days. Because they cannot go out to earn. As a result, their suffering knows no bounds. They go on starving.
A rainy day is a happy day for the students, as they have no classes in school. People pass the day listening to music, watching TV, and reading novels. A rainy day has also a good effect on the soil. It helps plants to grow, and flowers to bloom. As a result, nature looks fresh and beautiful. However, a rainy day is not pleasant for everyone.

Whenever it rains all day long we call it a rainy day. But all day does not mean incessantly. On a rainy day sometimes it may rain heavily, sometimes it may rain lightly and sometimes the rain may stop. The environment looks like a rainy day. The sky remains cloudy the whole day. The rainy day has different looks in different places. The appearance of a rainy day is different in cities, villages and on the water bodies like rivers, bills or haors. In cities, people have to go their work. So they have to step into the streets though it is raining heavily. They take umbrellas or raincoats with them for not getting drenched.
In city areas, a few numbers of people can enjoy a rainy day staying at home. But in the village area, most of the people can enjoy a rainy day because they do not need to go outside their homes. Both the city and village people enjoy some traditional food on a rainy day especially ‘Khichuri’. A rainy day is tremendously beautiful and enjoyable on a river. Boatmen or the passengers of launches and steamers enjoy a rainy day while they are making their journey.
A rainy day in Bangladesh is amazing. Bangladeshi people enjoy a rainy day very much. But it’s a horrible day for the day laborers who live from hand to mouth. They cannot go out to work and cannot earn their food.
